- The Tesla Wall Connector (3rd generation) can provide up to 11.5 kW of power for North American installations with a 240-volt supply and a 48-amp circuit. This translates to 11,500 watts. However, the power output can vary based on the electrical installation and the vehicle’s onboard charger capabilities.
- For European and other international installations with higher voltage (typically 400V three-phase), the Wall Connector can provide higher power levels, up to 22 kW or 22,000 watts.
It’s essential to note that while the Wall Connector can provide these power levels, the actual charging rate will also depend on the Tesla vehicle model and its onboard charger. For instance, some Tesla models come with onboard chargers that can only accept up to 11 kW, even if the Wall Connector and the electrical supply can provide more power.
